Job Title: Warehouse Team Leader

Shift: Monday – Friday, 13:30 – 22:00 (30-minute unpaid break)

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to join our afternoon shift team. Working Monday to Friday (13:30 to 22:00), you will oversee daily warehouse operations, manage floor staff, and ensure all incoming and outgoing goods are processed efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Supervision: Lead, motivate, and direct a team of warehouse operatives during the afternoon/evening shift to meet daily KPIs.
• Operational Flow: Coordinate goods-in, picking, packing, and dispatch operations to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
• Health & Safety: Maintain high standards of warehouse hygiene, safety, and manual handling compliance.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct stock checks, resolve inventory discrepancies, and ensure accurate dispatch documentation.
• Training & Onboarding: Coach new starters on warehouse procedures, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
• Handover: Conduct effective shift handovers with outgoing and incoming management teams.

Key Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse environment with demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Skills: Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Systems: Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and basic MS Office applications.
• Equipment: Experience with/managing a team using MHE, E.G Counterbalance, Reach Truck, PPT 
• Flexibility: Comfortable working an afternoon/evening pattern (13:30 – 22:00).
