Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver

Location: Purfleet, RM19

24-7 Recruitment Services are hiring experienced HGV Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client in Purfleet, Essex. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-growing business offering long-term, ongoing work, modern vehicles, and great pay rates. You will be multi-dropping goods from the RDC to client stores across the UK. A Monday- Friday shift available to suit your lifestyle, with immediate starts for the right candidates. This is not a light delivery role. You must be comfortable with regular heavy lifting and have previous Class 2 driving experience.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Class 2 / C Licence
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DDs, DRs, TTs, or INs)
• Valid Tacho and CPC cards
• Minimum of 6 months HGV class 2 driving experience

  About the role:

• Driving a HGV2 curtain side vehicle, delivering tyres to customers
• handballing will be involved with multi-drop deliveries (up to 15 drops per day)
• Goods will either be in cages and rolled off or FLT/Pump trucked off
• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
• Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers’ expectations are met.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.

  Shift Pattern and Pay for HGV Class 2 driver:

• Day shift, starts between 06:00am to 06:30am
• Monday to Friday
• Shift duration: 8- 12 hours per day (Minimum of 8 hours paid guaranteed)
• Bank holidays off
• £16.79 per hour
