Warehouse Operative

Location: Milton Keynes, MK4 (Tattenhoe)

Pay Rate: £15.28 per hour

Overtime Rate: £20.84 per hour

Shift Pattern: 5 days on, 2 days off (Working Friday to Tuesday)

• Working Days: Friday to Tuesday

• Scheduled Days Off: Wednesday and Thursday

Working Hours:

• Sunday – Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

• Friday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

• Saturday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

About the Role

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Operative to join our busy Outbound Department based in the Tattenhoe area of Milton Keynes (MK4).

In this role, you will play a vital part in our dispatch operations, handling large consumer goods safely and efficiently to ensure our customers receive their orders on time.

Key Responsibilities

• MHE Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment (VNA, RT, and PPT) to move stock around the warehouse.

• Order Processing: Pick and scan items accurately using handheld warehouse management systems.

• Specialist Handling: Safely lift and manoeuvre large items, specifically televisions, adhering strictly to manual handling guidelines.

• Dispatch Preparation: Wrap, band, and load finished pallets and goods securely onto outgoing vehicles.

• Warehouse Safety: Maintain a clean, tidy, and hazard-free working environment in line with health and safety standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Essential Experience: Previous experience operating VNA (Very Narrow Aisle), RT (Reach Truck), and PPT (Powered Pallet Truck). (Valid licences or certified in-house experience preferred).

• Physical Fitness: Comfortable with heavy lifting and physical warehouse tasks, specifically handling large items like televisions.

• Reliability: Able to consistently commit to the Friday-to-Tuesday shift pattern, enjoying a reliable mid-week rest every Wednesday and Thursday.

• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when scanning, picking, and loading outbound stock
