About you:
Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a HR environment would be beneficial .
Shift and Pay Information for a HR Administrator within the logistics distribution and supply chain industry:
- Monday - Friday
- 9am - 3:30pm
- £11.36 standard pay
What you'll be doing as a HR Administrator :
- Administer and maintain the ER tracker daily
- Maintain HR files
- Coordinate the recruitment process, including all recruitment administration
- Monitor attendance, including short term and long term sickness and securing Occupational Health support as required
- Assist the People Advisor as and when required, provide data and information for case management
- Attend meetings to take notes when required
- Provide data for HR reports, track, analyse data and trends
- Provide advice to different stakeholders on some aspects of HR
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with Payroll, sharing information and developing efficiency's.
What we are looking for in a HR Administrator :
- You should be an effective communicator, and have experience of dealing with people at all levels, develop effective working relationships and be able to influence stakeholders
- You will need to demonstrate a flexible and adaptable approach to your work
- Have excellent time management and analytical skills
- Attention to detail is a prerequisite in order to provide relevant, timely and accurate management information and reports
- Must be confident and motivated, be able to work as part of a team and at times under your own initiative
- You may occasionally be required to travel to other B&Q sites to support the network or attend meetings
- Knowledge of HR systems (ideally Oracle and Kronos)
Essentials for a HR Administrator :
- Proven background as a HR Administrator or previous HR experience. Ideally working towards a CIPD qualification or part qualified
- Good understanding of current employment legislation;
- Demonstrate a background of working in a HR department in a fast-moving operation;
- Applicants must be proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and Power point packages;
- The ability to problem solve and use your own initiative;
- The ability to maintain high standards whilst working under pressure and to deadlines;
- The ability to provide exceptional organisational and administrative skills;
- Resilient and persuasive with peers and managers;
- Confidentiality and discretion are essential;
